How to overcome display refused by X-Frame-Options when setting Youtube Video URL in nodes

Last Updated: Jun 12, 2018 10:42PM EEST
After setting a Youtube video URL in the corresponding "Video URL" field of a Node, e.g. Product, you may get the following error in the Javascript console of your browser:

Refused to display 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxxx&feature=youtu.be' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'.

A possible cause for this may be the fact that you are using the short URL of the Youtube video. A short URL looks like http://youtu.be/xxxxxxxxxxx.

Instead, you should use the full URL which would look similar to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxxx.

If, after this, the error persists, please, contact us by opening a ticket.
