Our distributions do not override the Drupal core files and can be updated with the usual Drupal core procedures.
You can find more information on how to update the Drupal core in your installation directly on drupal.org. Please check the available options in the following URL:

In case you find that the instructions in drupal.org are using tools that you are not comfortable using, we have prepared a document that describes the update procedure with simple tools (FTP & UI).
