Success Inc slideshow

Joni Mar 26, 2013 10:01PM EET

How can I display the slideshow on multiple pages. I've managed to display the images on other pages, but it seems not to load the javascript. I've already made a new content type and cloned the existing slideshow view, but it doesn't work.

Hello Joni,
thank you for contacting us.

The Slideshow of the Success Inc. product is a view block which is populated with content through the corresponding content types (Blog entry, Product, Service, Showcase, Slideshow entry). In addition, this view is styled by our custom view template views-view-list--slideshow--block.tpl.php which you can find inside the theme folder sites/all/themes/successinc/views-view-list--slideshow--block.tpl.php. By default, you are able to place the Slideshow view block to any page without any issues.

In your case, as you have already cloned the existing Slideshow view, the corresponding view template file views-view-list--slideshow--block.tpl.php is not activated for your new view block. Therefore, the proper HTML markup is not generated. As you said, the javascript exists inside this template.

You should just create a copy of the existing views-view-list--slideshow--block.tpl.php file and then rename it to views-view-list--YOURVIEWID--block.tpl.php.

After this you should clear all cached data through Drupal’s User interface (Home » Administration » Configuration » Performance). This step is important in order to force your template to be informed for the changes you have made in the template files.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need further assistance. We will be always here to help you :-)

Thanks
