Breadcrumbs not picking up path

jshimota Jun 10, 2019 07:44AM EEST

This is hard for me to explain - I have content of a type called 'showcase'. This content is NOT in the menu. The breadcrumb does not reflect it's parent content type, which I want to link back to the main 'showcase' view which is in the menu.
I use pathauto, and cleanURL. I attempted a number of breadcrumb modules - crumbs, path crumbs, easy crumbs. I succeeded getting easy breadcrumbs to work very well except I lost the css with the font awesome icon which was liked by the users.
Also, easy breadcrumbs adds as a block, which causes a loss of space on the page, and does not have a 'don't display on Home (<front>) function. So it's not really a perfect solve either.
Is there a way to put the Path into the existing breadcrumbs so I can pickup the content type easily?

Hi,

What is the Drupal version you are using? Could you open a private ticket with us and share admin credentials so we can collect more information about your installation and make suggestions?

HI. I can share creds if you need access. The public web is good to see the problem, whereas I built a WAMP version locally for testing.

doing what you asked now.
